Please Note: If there is no access number in your area, you can access AOL anywhere in Canada at speeds up to 57.6 Kbps using AOLnet and the number 1-800-318-2265. Your AOL Canada account will be charged a surcharge of 10 cents (Canadian) per minute,
or CDN$6.00 per hour, for the entire time you are connected using this number (even during your free trial membership
or time spent in an unlimited usage area). Please note that depending on your location, long distance telephone company charges may be less expensive than the use of 800 number. We recommend that you check with your long distance provider to determine applicable rates. |
Accessing AOL Canada from the U.S.
|
AOL Canada Inc. ("AOL Canada") offers its members that travel to the US an Unlimited US Local Access Plan ("Plan") for an additional $5 per month plus applicable taxes.
This Plan can be added to your existing monthly membership and makes the most sense to members who spend a lot of time in the US and wish to access AOL® when travelling.
If you select this Plan, it will go into effect on your next monthly billing date (this means that you will enjoy Unlimited US Local Access for $5 a month once your new cycle begins*). Your monthly billing date will remain the same as it is now.
Members can subscribe to this Plan by contacting member services at 1-(888) AOL-ROAD (1-888-265-7623) or by going to AOL Keyword Billing and by selecting Change Billing Method or Price Plan from the list on the left.
*Plus applicable taxes.
Unlimited US Access Plan only applies to members on the $24.95 and $11.95 price plans.
Subscription to the Unlimited US Access Plan will only take effect following your next billing date.
US Local Access charges of $2 per hour will apply for connections made before the next billing date and before the subscription to the Unlimited US Access Plan takes effect.
Per hour charges are billed on a per minute basis.

Accessing AOL Canada Worldwide

| Your AOL Canada account can be accessed in AOL Service countries by dialing access numbers provided in each country. Communications charges and/or long distance charges may apply. In addition roaming surcharges will apply in Japan.
You may also access your AOL Canada account in over 100 countries worldwide via GlobalNet. Communications surcharges will apply and long distance charges may apply.
