Automatically receive instant messages (IM’s) on your phone when you are away from your computer. Once you have set up and turned on IM Forwarding your buddies will see that you’re on your mobile phone and can send instant messages to you just like they normally do. Instant messages are automatically forwarded to your mobile phone as text messages.

In order to use IM Forwarding, your phone must be able to accept text messages. Although some wireless phone price plans have a certain number of text messages included, please check the documentation provided by your wireless carrier for pricing information specific to your service agreement.
