AOL® mobile services allows AOL® users to send and receive e-mail, chat via Instant Messenger™ and access the latest news, weather and sports headlines all from the keys of your cellphone.

To begin, you need an AOL®, Compuserve® 2000 or AIM screen name, a Web-enabled phone, and wireless Internet service provided through your wireless carrier.

If you have a screen name, you're ready to begin. Just follow these steps:

• Power ON your cellphone and select the MENU option. You can use your phone's navigation keys to scroll through the menu.
• Select the Web option from the MENU
• A message will be displayed to remind you that browser fees apply
• Select OK to continue.
• Select AOL® or Messaging from the web menu.
• Select AOL® IM from the AOL® or Messaging menus.
• When you connect to AIM the AOL home page will display
• Select OK to proceed.
• Select the appropriate text input mode using a soft key. On many phones Predictive text or T9 Text Input can save screen names and passwords for easier re-entry.
• Type in your screen name then select OK.
• Type in your password and select OK.
• After signing on, you will be able to add buddies to your Buddy List®, see who's online, and start conversations!
