AOL Hometown is the place to find home pages made by people on AOL and the Internet, or to get your own page.

AOL Hometown is the best place to find the home pages made by people like you on AOL and the Internet. You don't need to know anything about Web publishing to get a free page in AOL Hometown. We've made it as easy as 1-2-3.

In our communities, you'll find home pages about everything from how to start your own business to how to start a herb garden. AOL Hometown is all about community; it's a way to find people who share your interests, who are fascinated by the things that fascinate you. Browse through the AOL Hometown communities, or get help creating your own home page - it's all here!

When you first enter AOL Hometown, you'll be on the Main page. At the top of the page, you'll see the AOL Hometown toolbar. It has four links: Main, Create, Edit and Help. No matter where you go, you'll see the AOL Hometown toolbar at the top of your browser window. If you want to go back to the Hometown general page click on "Main".

The Main page will let you know what's happening in AOL Hometown, and in our best member pages. To explore our member pages, select one of the categories near the bottom of the Main page. Everything's organised neatly so you'll be able to zero in on whatever subject interests you.

In addition to browsing the AOL Hometown communities, you can also get help with your own home page. Your home page can be on just about anything - from genealogy to gardening to chess. Best of all, you can get a home page and add it to AOL Hometown for FREE! Sharing your interests with others - and being able to find others who share them - is a lot of fun.

AOL Hometown is the place for you.

If you've never had a home page before you can use our 1-2-3 Publish tool. In less than three minutes you can have a home page about whatever interests you. There are over 40 templates to choose from and you can even have your own chat room right on your home page with AOL's Instant Messenger service.

Get a page about your pet, favourite sport, best recipe and much more in just minutes. Just add your text and images, click preview and save. It's that easy.

We also have a new way to create your Web page. Easy Designer is for more advanced users. It will let you drag and drop images and text so that you can move them around a page. You can also add lots of pictures, move them around and even resize them on the page. Better still; you get access to a gallery of thousands of pieces of clip art. So if you're looking for a special picture to place on your Web page, you can just browse through our galleries! And if you become more advanced at building, Easy Designer lets you add your own HTML to produce sounds, banners and guest books!
