Uploading a Page
A home page is a wonderful way to share your interests
with the world. Creating your own home page may sound daunting, but at AOL
Hometown, we've made getting your own pages as easy as possible.
AOL Hometown offers users a quick and easy way to create
home pages with our 1-2-3
Publish or Easy Designer tool. If you are using AOL, find more
tools at Keyword: My FTP Space.

If you want to change your page some time after you've created and
published it, no problem!
There are two ways in which you can edit your page with 1-2-3
Publish:
- Go
directly to your page (if you have the address) and at the bottom of your
page you'll see a link to 1-2-3 Publish. Click on the link and you'll be
taken into 1-2-3 Publish to edit your page.
- Go to
1-2-3 Publish and select the category and the template that you used to
create your page (For example, the All About Me template in the Personal
Pages category). Since you've already created a page using that template
you'll see that your page is opened ready for you to edit.
If you want to edit your page using Easy Designer:
- Go to Easy Designer and simply click on
"Edit an existing page" and you will be taken to a list of all your
Hometown pages. Click on the one you want to edit and it will open up in Easy
Designer and you can edit it from there.

Uploading means that you transfer files from your
computer to a computer at AOL where anyone on the Web can see it. If you want
to have your home pages appear like this, they need to be uploaded to your Web
space on AOL.
1-2-3 Publish: If you
created your home page using 1-2-3 Publish, your page is automatically
uploaded and published when you click Save. Saved pages are also
automatically added to an AOL Hometown community. If your page doesn't appear
in the list, be sure to click Save when using 1-2-3 Publish.
Easy Designer: If you
created your home page using Easy Designer, your page is automatically
uploaded and published into a community. Ensure you always click Save when using Easy Designer
