Use the Quick Reply
feature to easily send messages with minimal typing. After you select
a Quick Reply, you can add additional text to the message. The Quick
Reply selections include smileys, simple greetings, and common phrases
used to coordinate activities with other people.

TIP |
Selecting CANCEL during a Quick Reply cancels the message
and returns you to the Conversations and Buddy ListTM. Press the
CLEAR or BACK key to return to the previous page
or activity. |

Send a New Message

Select Quick
Reply
 In
a new message, press the DOWN arrow to highlight QUICK. If
you are replying to a long message, press the DOWN arrow until
you find [Quick Reply] at the end of the message. Then select
QUICK.

Select the Type
of Quick Reply
 The
Quick Reply options include smileys, simple greetings, and common phrases
used to coordinate activities with other people. For example, press
the 1 key or select OK to select Smileys.

 Select
a smiley from the list by pressing its number key, or highlight the
smile and select OK. For example, to select the Kiss smiley,
press the 6 key, or highlight Kiss and select OK.

Add Text to the
Quick Reply
 After
you select a Quick Reply, you can continue typing additional text in
the message.

Send the Message
 When
your message is ready, select SEND.

Your buddy using
AIM on the desktop will see the graphic for the smiley you selected,
and any additional text you entered.
