Viewing the Status of Your Buddies
- Address a new text message to the AIM-Buddies command [4650].
- In the message body, type the word "list" and send the message. Depending on how many buddies are in your list, one or more messages will return listing your buddies and their current status.
Adding a New Screen Name to Your Buddy List
To add a new screen name to your Buddy List, complete the following steps:
- Address a new text message to the AIM-Add command [4648].
- In the message body, type your buddy's screen name and send the message. A message returns confirming that your message has been sent. This message contains the IM Number that is assigned to your buddy's name.
Deleting a Buddy From Your Buddy List
To delete a buddy from your Buddy List, complete the following steps:
- Address a new text message to the AIM-Delete command [4649].
- In the message body, type your buddy's screen name and send the message. A message returns confirming that your buddy has been removed from your Buddy List.
