Setting an Alert
- Address a new text message to the AIM-SetAlert command [4651].
- In the message body, type your buddy's screen name and send the message. When your buddy signs on, your phone may beep or vibrate, depending on its settings. A new message will arrive to let you know that your Buddy is now online.
Turning off an Alert
- Address a new text message to the AIM-SetAlert command [4651].
- In the message body, type your buddy's screen name as one word, even if it contains spaces and send the message.
